Attorney nominees sought for pro-bono award

Business Leader Media is seeking nominations for its Impact Pro Bono Awards, which recognize North Carolina attorneys who make a difference in their communities through pro bono work.

The awards will go to 72 attorneys, 24 each from the Triad, Charlotte and Triangle.

Winners will be honored at three separate luncheons hosted by the North Carolina Bar Association in conjunction with Business Leader magazine, Time Warner Cable, United Way, and Smith Anderson.

Each winner will also be profiled in the June 2008 edition of Business Leader magazine.

Nominations will be accepted online through April 7 for Triad attorneys, April 14 for Charlotte attorneys, and April 21 for Triangle attorneys.

Receptions will be held April 21 at the Empire Room in Greensboro, April 28 at the Charlotte Marriott City Center, and May 5 at the North Raleigh Hilton.
