Jenkins to oversee regional funders

RALEIGH, N.C. - Beth Boney Jenkins, a 10-year veteran of the North Carolina Community Foundation, has been tapped to direct the organization's 59 regional affiliates.

In her new role as vice president of affiliate services, Jenkins also will manage the employees of the statewide foundations' local affiliates.

She previously served as a senior associate for the foundation, overseeing the efforts of 25 local affiliates.

She now will divide her time between the foundation's Raleigh and Wilmington offices.

The North Carolina Community Foundation, which is based in Raleigh and serves 65 counties, manages $110 million in assets that support more than 1,000 endowment funds.
