Network for Good buys ePhilanthropy

In an effort to bolster its online-fundraising toolkit, Network for Good has purchased the ePhilanthropy Foundation for an undisclosed amount.

"ePhilanthropy Foundation's groundbreaking progress in developing Internet ethics and best practices will do much to help nonprofits get the resources they need," Bill Strathmann, CEO of Network for Good, says in a statement.

Network for Good, which provides online fundraising services to nonprofits, plans to combine the two organizations' resources by the end of this summer.

ePhilanthropy Foundation is a nonprofit educational group that encourages the ethical use of the Internet in fundraising.
