Reneé earned master's and bachelor's degrees in public administration at North Carolina Central University in Durham. She has also received extensive training in web development, design and maintenance.

With over eleven years of web-design experience, she has designed and maintained web sites for several nonprofits in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.

Reneé also donates her time and creative designs to various church, civic and non-profit organizations.
