Kristine has a bachelor's degree in marketing, with a concentration in information systems, from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.

She previously sold print advertising for CoolSavings Magazine, a publication of Landmark Communications in Norfolk, Va., and before that was a sales associate for the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C., selling best-practices research to top-level executives.
